Welcome. These are the rules for using the echo|studios site — short, clear, and meant to protect patrons, artists, and our organization.

What the platform is:

We’re a curated creative agency that represents a signed roster of artists. The public can view and stream works. We offer donations, artist storefronts, paid newsletters and subscription tiers, occasional announced submission windows, and other commerce features.

Who can publish:

Only artists signed with echo|studios or works we explicitly accept during announced submission windows may be published. Do not send unsolicited submissions outside public calls — we won’t treat those as confidential.

Buying, donating, subscribing:

Payment processing: Payments and donations are processed either directly through our checkout or via embedded third-party services. Payment processors’ terms and privacy policies apply.
Digital goods: When you buy a digital work (ebook, audio, video), you get a limited, non-exclusive license for personal use unless otherwise stated.
Physical goods: Shipping terms, delivery times and refund policies will be provided at checkout.
Subscriptions & newsletters: Subscriptions may auto-renew. You can cancel per the subscription terms on your account page or by contacting us. Refunds for subscriptions, donations, or purchases are handled per our checkout policies (see refund paragraph below).
Taxes & fees: Buyers are responsible for applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) and customs duties. We may collect taxes at checkout.

Refunds & chargebacks:

Refunds are issued at our discretion and according to the product description and purchase flow. If you open a chargeback, we may suspend your access while we resolve it. Repeated chargebacks may result in account suspension.

Artist storefronts & responsibility:

Artists control the content and pricing of items they sell (subject to their agreement with echo|studios). Artists are responsible for compliance with taxes and laws governing their works unless their agreement with us says otherwise. We are not responsible for an artist’s offsite pages or channels.

Content rules & takedown:

Don’t post unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. We can remove content that violates our rules. For copyright takedown requests, email info@echolstudios.co with the required details (identification of the work, location of infringing material, statement of good faith, and your contact info). We’ll respond as required by law.

Pseudonyms & privacy:

Artists may publish under pseudonyms. We keep legal names confidential unless required by law or contract. We will not disclose a legal name tied to a pseudonym except if mandated.

Termination & modifications:

We can suspend accounts or remove content for breaching these terms. We may change the site or these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. We’ll post the effective date when changes occur.

Disclaimers & liability:

We provide content “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, echo|studios is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages or for things like interrupted service. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain disclaimers; where they don’t apply, liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

Governing law & disputes:

We operate internationally. Where local law applies, it will govern aspects required by law; otherwise, disputes should be handled in the jurisdiction specified in artist or user contracts. Please contact us first — we prefer to resolve issues directly.
